Intermediate Bulk Containers, often known in the industry as IBC Totes or IBC Tanks – often hold liquid substances, including food ingredients, chemicals, and solvents. These substances are commonly sensitive to temperature fluctuations – so need to be kept ambient.
You can choose from two options of insulation material, to protect your IBC Contents;
ThermaPack Double IBC Cover
ThermaPack Double IBC Jackets are manufactured using a Bubble Insulation Membrane, sandwiched between two layers of highly reflective True Aluminium Foil. Whilst this material is only 4mm in thickness, it equates to 55mm of Polystyrene.
The True Aluminium Outer Layers reflect away excess heat during the summer and excess cold during the winter. This reflective barrier is easy to use whilst being extremely thermally effective.
EcoQuilt Expert IBC Cover
The EcoQuilt Expert IBC Covers are commonly used where the IBC Content has a greater temperature sensitivity – as this material is equivalent to 55mm of polystyrene, whilst being just 15mm thick. It manufactured from 6 layers, of wadding and reflective foil. The insulated IBC Cover system works effectively as a barrier against both heat radiation and conduction.
They also boast velcro seal closure, which means you can access the IBC as and when required and then it can be re sealed easily too.
